Smith Bowman Distillery in Fredericksburg, this single barrel bourbon is triple distilled, beginning its life at Buffalo Trace in Kentucky before undergoing a final distillation in a copper pot still in Virginia and aging for approximately 9 to 10 years. Because each bottle is pulled from a single barrel, there is subtle variation between releases, though the profile consistently leans toward deep notes of dark toffee, baking
